Concordia University Wisconsin's 2026-27 catalog sets the MSN FNP and AGPCNP at 750 clinical hours in three 250-hour courses and the PMHNP programs at 500. The Post-BSN to DNP adds 258 leadership hours for 1,008 in all. The table gives the catalog's figures; each program guide covers the courses, the preceptor and the timing.

What changes from one track to the next
The preceptor matters as much as the hour count. An FNP student trains in primary care across the lifespan; an AGPCNP student, in primary care from adolescence through older adulthood; a PMHNP student, in mental health settings. DNP students add an agency mentor for the project hours, and the Post-BSN to DNP runs its clinicals as residencies.

Questions CUW students ask
Are CUW's graduate nursing programs online?
Yes, with short on-campus pieces. The MSN FNP and AGPCNP include a required Advanced Health Assessment intensive in Mequon (the catalog says 2-3 days, the program pages say three), the PMHNP programs a 3-day workshop, and the DNPs a final on-campus cohort meeting at graduation. The PMHNP certificate is fully online.
Why does the PMHNP DNP show both 700 and 1,000 hours?
The catalog lists at least 500 psychiatric clinical hours plus 200 leadership hours. The program page counts 1,000 residency hours in total, with verified hours from an earlier advanced practice degree making up the difference. Confirm your own count with the Graduate Clinical Coordinator.
Does CUW offer an AGACNP or nurse educator track?
Not in the 2026-27 catalog. CUW's nurse practitioner tracks are FNP, AGPCNP and PMHNP; the MSN nurse educator track was last listed in 2023-24.
Who arranges clinicals in CUW's pre-licensure programs?
CUW does. The Direct Entry MSN page says CUW secures the placements, and Traditional BSN students train with area healthcare partners. Graduate NP students secure their own preceptors, and RN to BSN students do their clinical hours where they work.
